This is an age where Phones are getting smarter and people are getting dumber.
So what is that one thing that you need in your phone that can make you smarter than everyone else?Not just smarter, may be as God?Do not wonder when I say I now possess such a power, through such a phone.It goes like this.
This incident happened a couple of days back.I was having coffee at a coffee shop when a gentleman came to me.
''Do you mind if we can talk for a couple of minutes?", he asked me.
"What is it about?", I asked,"if it is about some credit card or Personal loan, I must say I am not interested", I said.
"No, no, not that", the gentleman smiled,"I am the head of the R&D division of this great brand Asus. But I am in a confused state here with a new product that I have developed because no one seems to believe me."
"What have you developed?", I asked.
"A phone which gives the user a sixth sense", he said.
"Oh! that sounds interesting", I said
"It is such a relief that you are ready to hear me. I had said about this phone to many of my colleagues and many other guys, but no one seemed to even bother to hear me out."
"Well, let me decide whether I need to believe you, but before that, how is your phone going to gift its user with a sixth sense "
"It can read people's minds", he said.
"Wow, that's great, but I don't think I will be needing it, as I already have that ability", I said
"I think you are making fun of me", he said
"What makes you think so? You are a human who has built a phone that reads minds. I am here a human who can read minds. What makes you NOT believe me?"
"Well, considering the situation I am in, I think I should choose to at least hear you out. You will have to prove me though, by reading my mind", he said.
"I can do that", I said, "Okay, you think about something"
"Okay, you know what? Here is the deal, If you really read my mind, I will gift you the special phone that I just created"
"Oh really?", I got excited.
"..and if you lose, you will have to convince people about this phone of mine. I don't know how you do it, you just have to do it "
"No problem", I said
"Okay then, we are ready", he said and started thinking.
"I can now read your mind.." I said and pretended to look like I am reading his mind,"Okay, got it, You are now thinking that what ever I say you are thinking, you are going to deny it, so that you can prove me wrong, and also win the deal"
"No, That was not what I was thinking", he shot back
"See, I said it. You denied !", I smiled.
He started smiling as he just understood what had just happened."Man, you are smart"
"Thanks"
"So I guess I have to keep my word", and he took out 'the' Asus phone from his pocket and handed it over to me."You can use this phone to read minds, but remember, this is a single piece edition. I would not dare to create more of such kinds, as it would create disasters to the world. Use it judiciously as this is a great power you have got, And as Spider man said.."
"..with Great power comes great responsibility", I completed his words, "See, I told you I don't need this, I already read minds", I smiled.
He smiled back at me,"I know this is safe with you. Good luck!",he said and left.
'Man, who was he', I wondered, 'Just walked in and gifted me a phone and did I just get this new ability to read minds?', I unpacked the phone and switched it on.
The waiter came over to me to hand over the bill.
"What? do you really think this is a cool phone?", I asked.
He looked at me surprised.
"Don't wonder how I read your mind, I have that ability", I handed over him the bill amount.
I walked out of the coffee store, all excited about my new power, the new feature of my phone. Reading people's minds.Really felt like God!
There it is, that's my story, I now hold this new power of reading peoples' minds through my new phone.Man, this is fun!, And now I do realize that people are indeed crazy. Wow, I am loving this !
